Raising the Bar: NBSC Welcomes AACCUP Preliminary Survey
Northern Bukidnon State College triumphantly completed the Preliminary Survey Visit (PSV) conducted by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP). This significant event was held from September 4-8, 2023 and NBSC victoriously reaped its success through passing the aforementioned evaluation of its five programs that marks significant academic excellence.
PSV is an assessment process to ensure quality assurance of the institution. It is an opportunity for growth and learning, which provides invaluable insights and recommendations from the AACCUP. The fruition of the event is made possible through the strong commitment of the NBSC Accreditation Team led by the esteemed Executive Committee, College president, Dr. Catherine Roween C. Almaden, Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, and Vice-President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Helen E. Maasin who conscientiously supervised the entire PSV process.
NBSC is immensely grateful to the AACCUP Accreditation Team under the skilled leadership of Dr. Fe S. Soriano from Pangasinan State University who conducted a thorough and collaborative evaluation of the five essential programs. The obtained insights and suggestions will guide the college toward achieving higher quality standards in education and institutional governance.
The profound PSV victory of NBSC serves as a testament to the hard work and dedication of all administrators, instructors, and stakeholders. This milestone leads NBSC to gear forward for the Actual Visit this coming September 2024. This upcoming event will be crucial in the continuous journey toward academic and operational excellence.
